Bones STF's and hill bombs?
«

Does anyone have any experience with this combination? Going to SF in october and wanting to bomb some mellow hills. Normally i skate STF's, but do these get too slippery? Any other wheel recommendations? Thanks guys!

first off: softer the wheel, quicker the bomb, unless the pavement is ungodly smooth. even 78as feel slippery when you get up to speed. stfs are pretty much as slippery as it gets, which you probably know already. i'd say get another setup just for that purpose (maybe a wider deck/trucks too, if you're gonna buy all new shit), but that's just me. you'll have fun with it either way

Yeah it'll be fine as long as they're not brand spanking new. I've slipped out an eaten shit with brand new STFs just cause of the extra slip factor when they don't have dirt on them. Break them in first, they're excellent wheels to bomb hills on.

atleast your wheels won't be fucked after powersliding the whole hill with stf's.
