Blake Carpenter’s switch flip bs ts at Muni is fucking quackers

easily the craziest trick ive seen in person. Not even close honestly.

I loved the historical talk in this one and seeing those models of downtown from before it was built. That skyline just pops so well on clips. It's so special especially when city hall is lit up.

Give anything to know where the yard is with all those slabs

Love how ted bashed the city knowing they would watch to make sure he didn't spill the beans from signing that NDA

I dont think the city told Ted where this is. People have been going there for years.

That was great. Never been to Philly (or the states) so it was cool going down to Malmö for the Love Malmö opening. I even have a Nocturnal board on my wall, an I stole a small piece of the granit at the opening :D Closest Ill get.

Also suprised sitting here in Sweden watching this and seeing a friend have a trick in the video.

That was excellent. Wish he would have mentioned love in Malmo, and had Kalis talk about grabbing the granite for his park. I'm surprised there is that much of it (the granite) still there,  I know the lads here would be robbing it for a DIY.

There was actually funny/sadly pathetic bit of drama that I did not post about when it was happening. A piece of granite, possibly one of the shorter City Hall benches, ended up at FDR Park. The next part is murky, but it ended up being shipped down to Florida by Danny Renauld. Someone might have “sold” it to him. I’m not sure.

It ends up being a dramatic argument on the Fdr Facebook page with park OGs saying it belongs to FDR and demanding its return. Danny is apologetic and ships the slab back. Slab ends up as part of a door frame to an unused area/spot to piss. Supposedly someone’s finger got smashed while putting it in place.

Eventually, it got taken down and now sits in the parking lot, somewhat skateable, but very under utilized.

Super good. Not complaining, but an early promo Thrasher put out for this was focused on the Afro banks, so I was expecting it to cover more spots in the city, not just the main 3 plazas.

I recently got this book from I think the 80s, about the history of different sculptures and buildings in Philly.
Figured some people might find the entry on the Afro banks interesting:

It's also got a section on that sculpture by City Hall, with the super steep transition that Jordan Trahan bs ollied

that was very cool, as usual.
i always wondered - here and also in the sabotage last days clips - why the workers smashed the granite floor slabs at muni with a hammer?
why smash these large quadratic slabs in the first place?
why do it manually with a 10 kg sledgehammer?

Those are cool articles about the sculptures, Childhood.

My dad was friends with the artist who made the swirly one. My sister told the artist she liked his sculpture and the next time he saw her he gave her a miniature necklace version of that piece he made out of silver.

I’m trying to convince her to take it to the UK Antiques Roadshow because it’s a great story and I want to meet Fiona Bruce.

it surprisingly didnt take that much to break them. I remember seeing a clip of a tile getting stomped in half from a bump to can attempt.

Damn, a necklace of that would be so cool to have

Late last year I went to the art museum, and they were actually filming an episode of Antiques Roadshow right out front of it

The book also has an entry on the Robert Indiana LOVE sculpture too:

I put out the call for Ted to do a This Old Ledge on the LA Library because it’s the Central Branch’s 100 anniversary.   Beautiful Art Deco architecture would be perfect for him

this is a sick building. he kinda swept through LA already even tho it'll never be comprehensive.

if they're not going to London or Paris I'm betting Montreal/Peace Park or Toronto is on the horizon.
