I've been wearing a pair for about two months and they are starting to do weird things.
The main issue is that the vulc is separating from the upper a lot where it bends when I step or push.
Also, they feel thin, as far as reducing shock from dropping down things.

Overall they don't feel like they were constructed as well as they could have been.
Any similar experiences?

I wouldn't know but that sounds like a typical vulc shoe after two months of wear.

they are cheaper than other shoes, and skate very well as long as they hold up. if you ask me, i would rather skate vox than vans.

Not exactly impressed with Vans either but their somewhat bad quality seems to get a pass. Marketing...

Ive had plenty of Vox shoes, vulcs, and also cups back when they used to make them. And they always held up well. Nothing special, but they do the job and are super cheap.

Seems like you guys have the same idea about them as I do. I got them for pretty cheap and I thought I got a better deal than I did.
If I get another pair I will definitely get some better insoles for them.

I had the troopers. I eventually just used them to crawl under houses at my old job.

yeah i think some of the vox's skate great! for about the 2 weeks they last.
i assumed this is / was because the rubber must be softer? so they are pretty grippy and flicky.. but just wear down really fast.

Just out of curiosity, how does asking "On average how long do these last?" referring to the shoe in question relate to being a dickhead? The question is on topic and relevant to the thread, not only that by asking this question that others may have been wanting to ask it is already there for them. So really if anyone here is being the dickhead it you because you changed the topic of the thread and tried (in a very shitty way) to threaten me. Come to Sydney you say? well considering i currently reside there it would require me to leave and then return which isn't very practical or efficient for either of us.

All i know is that it's made through he same channels as Osiris. To get shoes that cheap, you have to make sacrifices. You get what you pay for, a disposable skate shoe that does the job. the end.

Had a pair of Hewitts and they were good. Nothing crazy, just a garden variety, mid top vulc shoe.

I bought pair of the Vox Navarette (Navagator) last month when I was on the road for work, but haven't used them yet. They are cut a little bit higher than I usually like, but they look decent enough.

Had the troopers as my last shoe, not impressed at all. The grip pattern is so soft it lasts a week, and they were flimsy and uncomfortable

I would be super stoked if thin vulc shoes lasted 2 months. I've had many vox kruzers and they skated good about three weeks before outsole and suede wore out. I really liked them but had to change the insoles in each of them because of the nonexistent shock reduction. But I heard from a local shop that there have been complaints about the quality of the shoes, similar as you described at 1.post and therefore they stopped ordering vox earlier this year.
