Indy warranty?
« on: November 03, 2013, 04:39:28 PM »
Indy has a lifetime guarantee, and my kingpin snapped on mine. Has anyone gotten their trucks replaced by them? I tried emailing them but haven't gotten a response yet.

as far as i know the warranty does not cover the kingpin. go to a shop and buy a new one for 3 bucks.

why would anybody want a truck replaced if a kingpin breaks?

Indy is really good about it. I grinded a pair to the axle, they sent me a pair ASAP, when I got the new pair, the side axles were rusty, and were kind of hard to tighten the bolts on, sent those back without even skated me, replaced those as well, best customer service. Ask for Todd.
This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

Skateboarding is nothing but a game to find the right fits to appear like you're a proportional human being instead of a midget or a giant.

Most shops have kingpins, takes a few minutes to pop it out and put a new one in.

i was grinding the axel in parts, if i put in a new king pin it would stick out so far. it would be deadly

I know people that have sent their Indys back for almost anything. Kingpins, axle snap, grinding down to the axle, cracked base plate, you name it. I've never heard of anyone getting rejected, everyone that I know received a new set of trucks when their old ones bit the dust. Independent makes one hell of a truck.

I had a baseplate crack, and Indy gave me a new set of trucks, but I'm not sure about a kingpin.
