The whole thing about felix is that he kind of replaced the corporate no namer he commentated with last year before rowley took his place.

He is meant to remind people of sponsors and shit and have like a dumb radio show host voice whilst rowley gives it legitimacy with his views shrouded in skate royalty.

The problem with this is that Felix is fucking stupid and you can't rely on catchphrases for an hour and a half of commentating on what is historically practice.

jesus, there has to be a hundred former or current pro skaters better suited to this job. at least someone that didn't cry when they got eliminated from a dumb reality TV show.

99% of those pros have too much self respect to play the part.  More awesome pros just don't talk that much.  Ill give Felix that.  He has the verbal stamina.  I do however feel that he make skateboarding cheesy.

If they got Muska and Rowley to be the announce team that would be the best thing ever.
It'd be awesome if they were calling the event and then trailed off into like a 10 minute conversation about skating/hanging out together back in the day. They probably have some gnarly stories together.

there should be an online show that streams street league with some industry shit talkers commentating the whole time.
suggestions: tim o connor, nieratko, dave carnie, etc

they could even talk to dyrdek and make it somewhat legitimate (quality video stream )

could be called "street league: UNCUT!!" or something stupid like that



there is no way we are going to get the commentary we want on the televised street league. Let felix earn a living, he was obviously given strict guidance on what to say/his role as a commentator. it's not for "us", let it go

I think it is great to have commentators that just do what is expected of them.  The more light they shine on what actual skateboarding is, is bad.  Lets keep the contests for the general public and real skateboarding for skateboarders
