I drink all day everyday too. Its a tough life to live. It makes skating so hard, so I give dollin props for holding it down kingly.

Do you hold down a normal job? Just asking cause I was going the same. Drinking 24/7 and working till it almost got me fired.

Dollins situation is a bit different.

And Snape is one of the best skaters. Ever.

how did you manage to kick alc if you don't mind me asking? Because I've tried everything from detox facilities, long stay rehabs, tons of hospitalizations, being on benzos, fuck it, embarrassingly even went to a church no joke. And all those attempts have been this year alone. I physically can't stop. I wake up so shaky and in pain I have to drink "medicinal beers" and that just restarts the vicious cycle. I am so far from employable, realizing moreso now Im Killing myself slowly.

If that was just this year, you did not have a long stay in rehab. I've been in exactly your situation, got totally sober for months at a time and gone right back to the same shit. You have to REALLY want to kick it. Try this website for some advice/other peoples experiences etc. The forums are pretty good. http://www.soberrecovery.com
Now, we used to say we put on our tights to put on the world. So I don't think it tarnishes the image at all.

There's no easy answer. I've been through the ringer with alcohol: Treatment programs, therapy, different drugs, etc.. If you're deep into alcoholism, you'll have to suffer for a while just to get out of its grips. I've been trying to fight it off for almost 5 years now, you have really, honestly not want to drink anymore. i'd recommend meditation and yoga as things to replace booze.

Dustin Dollin seems to be the only one from baker that took the Piss drunks shit waay to seriously, he looks like a 40 year old washed up lesbian it would have been cool to see him put out one video part completely sober so that we could see him skating to his full potential, his vans part was completely half arssed and that's why he shared it with Andrew Allen, because their laziness combined was enough to make almost one full part,  all his skating in the recent volcom video consisted of him falling down so I think its safe to say he wont be putting out any real footage  anytime soon. Fucking sucks to see that baker still relies on his baker3 part and only on his drunken hijinx to sell skateboards. Hopefully he could show his fans he still cares by making a comeback part fully sober or at least show that he can film a video part that shows that he actually gives a fuck. ):

[/quote a 45 day rehab, two five day stays at detox, plus 3 or 4 like overnight type gigs at hospitals. As cool and glamorous as it may seem, why would I lie about rehab. Gotta be the least glamorous place, cuz I got it sponsored by the city via insurance, so they don't take you to a very nice place, although the flood was admittedly very dope. Otherwise I was just with hella sketchy court ordered ex prisoners. Snuck in a phone at least. And thanks I actually do hit up sober recovery forums often.
