sizing of theories hoodies?

wondering the sizing of any theories stuff, (polar magenta theories). i usually buy xl tall stuff. but I'm looking at some polar hoodies that I have always wanted to get, but don't want them to be too small. I know putting them in the dryer shrinks the shit out of most stuff, so if I get some I definitely will hang dry. i guess I'm wondering how they fit, are they typically running small for their size? any help is great. thanks

I think all the brands are different. I have a Theories Rasputin hoody that's XL and fits perfect. A little on the big size but I like it baggy. Recently bought a XL Magenta hoody thinking it be similar but it was sooo small, fit like a medium, had to give it to a friend.

I'd go up. I have a few mediums from a few of their brands and they're all smediums.

Polar sources their own apparel, the hoods fit slim and almost a size small.
Theories uses independent trading co, depending on which model they run true to slightly big.
Magenta was also using independent trading co blanks but that could have changed.

they're usually pretty good about telling you how they fit in the description. theories stuff fits true to size for the most part. but magenta stuff i have to go a size up.

I've been a medium for a decade but have had a few incidents of shit either arriving and it being too tight immediately, or after one wash/dry shrinking too much. Kind of resigned myself to being a large for safety's sake :/
