If I had the means I would buy a parachute for a flight and carry it on. Parachute all the way, gotta save yourself, cant worry about the others. If you cant afford a parachute just stick benzos up your butthole.

For a first time user, im sure 3 or 4mg of clonazepam and you could jump outta the plane and thoroughly enjoy the ride down
Yeah, you wont even be forming memorys while free falling so its a win win either way. No fear like the shirts bruh.

this can be good but can also turn south real quick if you're the anxious type and it just makes you stay awake

My advice would be don't take the drugs and just accept your fate.

I used to be super scared of flying with sleepless nights up to a couple of weeks before take-off. I tried sleeping pills and took them at the wrong time so I was super dazed during a 4hour stop off.

Anyway, my wife made me understand that fear of flying was going to prevent me from seeing the world which is stupid if you want to make the most of your life.

Also, if it helps, I try and visualise the take-off and landing like being in a car and accessing a freeway where once you're on it it's smooth sailing. Turbulence is like bumps in the road.

When in doubt look at the stewards. If they're scared then you can be.

ps Why does turbulance always hit when they're serving food and drinks?

pps With climate change, expect a lot more turbulance.

Klonopin helps. I got weird about flying (and other shit) in my early twenties and the klonopin helped me keep the anxiety down. I don't feel spacey on anything when I take it, I just don't ratchet up the anxiety like I used to. I still takes some when I fly.

Thats why I like clonazepam/klonopin/kpins, you dont get "high" or anything, not even tired. You just dont have any anxiety.

If you have alot of anxiety though klonopin helps you sleep amazing since it prevents that "cant turn off my thinking" kinda feeling

Also its cheap as fuck. I get .5mg tabs 300 for $17. Shit lasts along time

If you're medicine averse or generally an anxious person, flying is always a good lengthy time to practice diaphragmatic breathing and mindfulness. Trying to get rid of anxiety will only make it more problematic. A healthier approach is to accept anxiety for what it is (a thought/sensation) in order to not to be controlled by it. Benzos sound great for flights, but be prepared for crazy rebound anxiety.

Rebound only comes with long term use.

But yeah breathing exercises are a great idea! Challenging yourself to overcome your fears works wonders

In general, I think most people don't get it from short-term use. However, people react to it differently. I've worked at a lost of different places, but I'm currently a psychologist at the VA and work primarily with residential stress disorders and substance abuse. Granted this is an extreme setting, but I have seen people go into full blown panic even after short-term use of benzos.

Maybe I'm just sensitive, but I took it a benzo on a flight from D.C. to Rio and was completely blacked out the whole way. I woke up with super intense anxiety for an hour or so. Then again, alcohol does the same thing to me.

Yeah its a possibilty but very rare.

You do sound sensitive especially if alcohol does the same thing. Gaba receptors are funny like that.

But even the smallest dose would be considered safe and effective, like a .5mg clonazepam broke in half. Most drs will tell you to try it before the flight just to see how it works

Magnesium bigylcinate is a good natural option as is l theanine
