I think we can all agree this is a mixture of stupid, lame, embarrassing, weird, and maybe even kind of scary too.
SO now that we're past that, how does this thing differentiate between a half cab flip and a nollie bs heel?

I hope this shit doesn't actually become implemented in anybody's scene. The technology is sort of interesting but life doesn't need to be any more similar to a fucking video game.

I could see how it could recognize 180 degree rotations but yeah,,,,, shit,,,, it can't sense pop whether ollie or nollie unless it is sooooo fine tuned that it could tell the difference between vertical elevation from nose and tail accurately. Like *front foot vertical elevation first input indicates an ollie vs. rear foot vertical increase indicates nollie.

Shit man, no matter what... this is still dumb as fuck.

*****unless when you got home it would give you a digitized version of footy. Like.....watching a line you did, but as a pixel shredder. Chahhh dude.

One part of me is kinda interested in performance gear in skateboarding... It would be interesting to have a sensor that measures you're foot pressure on your deck as well as your body motion, in addition to speed etc. like this thing, so that you can actually see what works and what doesn't. I'm sure it's what people pay 1000s of $$$ to get a golf coach to analyze your swing, and it might work for someone and in an olympic training scenario it might mean something.

But skateboarding is about crushing beer in a parking lot so this is for kooks only.

I'd say that height is unrealistic to say the least, but I don't know how to convert that to fahrenheit or hogsheads or whatever. It would be cool if you could make the display say 58008 so you could do a varial flip and see something magical if you looked down just right.
