How the fuck is Walker Ryan just another white guy? You know, besides being an actual white guy. No one is this tech/gnar and has the switch bs/nollie fs proficiency he does besides the Chinese guy on Primitive, and that dude skates 95% ledges and manual pads. Walker Ryan is exceptionally unique.

myself i think i mostly remember him from of how strongly he was introduced on organika a while back, i mean they named an entire video after him - "zach [lyons] and walker's concrete jungle", which they released just as zach and walker ryan got on at the same time. that video was so sick at the time, with one of zach's funkiest sections (to me, on par with his pitcrew stuff) complemented by walker ryan's tech shit (skating to peter bjorn & john...) and a rad montage in between featuring quim and all. the length was the perfect format so you could watch it before skating too. bought many organikas after that (the decks were pretty sick) and actually just recently got to cope the dvd, seven years late, local shop had it stored away in a random shoe box.

ever since watching that organika vid i hadn't watched a walker ryan part again i don't think (always thought zach lyons was cooler... haha), but i've always recognized his name. and zach keeps coming to mind everytime walker ryan gets mentioned although they skate nothing alike, just because of that video and it's been almost a decade

I knew he was good, but didn't really appreciate Walker until his Sabotage part which came outta nowhere for me. He really is a great skater and seems to just wanna travel and film. I'm posting this too cuz its dope.

The new Alien Workshop may be a lot of things, but no way is it anywhere near as bad as Sovrn. The shit I took this morning has a better aesthetic than Sovrn.
