Why are people saying Tiago wouldn't have a cool trip? First, DC would obviously pay. I could see a sick group of those amazing brazillians who always get overlooked being front and center and on a rad trip. Tiago, Ribeiro, Iqui, and all those guys going to some sick skate city would be something I'd love to see. Either way, its moot, and Jamie's trip with the Baker and Deathwish dudes will be cool too.
Its pretty funny how the Louie camp is mad about both Foy winning and wants to call the Tiago camp babies, even though I've seen maybe one post about how Tiago deserved it and Foy didn't and the rest were stoked.
I said the trip wouldn’t be as cool cause I don’t even know who that dudes friends are and Brazilian skaters have never done it for me. Look at the last few sotys, they’re all homies and were on each other’s trips.
I’d rather see new footage of Tyson and Zion and some of the other new dudes foys homies with than whoever the hell tiago hangs out with. Just my preference. I’m sure tiagos would be entertaining but just not near where the last few years had been.
I'm just wondering, but who does Wes hang out with that is part of the latest SOTY's or really Ave. I get guys like Grant, Ishod, Kyle Walker etc who are linked.
I really have no idea who Tiago would bring except Carlos Iqui, but he could also easily bring Evan Smith, Wes, and Danny Montoya. I'd be just as hyped, if not more so for that than the dudes you listed.
And this is coming from someone who would have voted for Louie out of the main contenders and though Shane deserved way more hype than he got for his Levels part and the part he filmed in 9 days with James James.
