Funny how we get attached to a company based on the team when we were growing up. Once the rest of the OGs are off/ retired, Emerica will never be the same... to me.

Bring on the new crop of kids. Herman's got more money than he needs and is bowing out to let the company expand and grow. Some real g shit.

and eS - that Menikmati vid/team was so full of legends that they hit the high water mark in terms of status, product and financial stability, but once all those dudes left, eS could NEVER be what it once was.  Kinda feel the same way about AWS too.

Or he's just injured and stoned all the time and over it...and rolling in money, yeah.

OK so my bad, in my previous post I was operating under the assumption that this might be bad news for Herman financially because for some reason I assumed he might not have a ton saved up, but apparently that's incorrect.

Did he get a bag from his St. Archer involvement? Why is everyone so sure he's loaded right now? I just want the deetz so I can sleep knowing Herman's pockets ain't gonna be hurting.

Naw I like the idea that Herman’s contract was the only thing keeping Emerica from signing all the top skaters and releasing the most coveted shoes

Reynolds said that he saw his friends make millions off that St. Archer deal. Herman was an initial investor so I'm sure dude is well off

Heard he is sitting on 5-7 mil plus and investments such as property and stakes in other businesses..

So I don't think he is hurting..

Kind a cool first heath and now herman have both bowed gracefully from skating, emerica sure has taken care of their employees..

It just depends on how much he put in. The people that put in the most made the most obviously. I think I remember Slash saying he only put in so much and probably didn't make out as well as others did. Hopefully Herman put in a good amount.

In addition to the Saint Archer deal as well as the Villager stuff, it appears he's also involved with a guitar pick up company that's starting to gain some traction. I'd be sad to see him leave skateboarding, but all in all he's had a pretty solid run up to this point.

It’s so sick that in my tenure at slap we’ve gone from discussing actual rumors and 20-something page threads about whether Chris Roberts’ part in A Time To Shine sucked to how much money a pro has earned from his investments.

Pretty sure it was shown when the St. Archer sale happened that Herman was in the highest tier of investor outside of Mikey and Paul (and there 3rd primary partner). So, he cleaned up pretty good.

I hope he parlays all this into a full spot on Shark Tank.

Relatively speaking to the rest of the people interviewed, I think Herman carried himself well on the 7.5 club. I tip my hit to this gentleman and wish him more successful ventures.
