Im happy a lot of companies backed him up and contacted the shop to give them support, he has the sickest attitude about the whole situation. I hope this gives him publicity.

Crob needs to make his own show solely comprised of impressions of Chico and Jeron lol

So grateful 35th North isn't going anywhere. Them and 35th Ave are two of their very best skateshops to exist. Here's a post from yesterday

I laughed at Chris doing the Jeron/Chico conversations the same way I laugh at photoshop threads.  I love skateboarding.

The Chico impression is so good.  He's been messing with it the last few episodes, I can't remember which ones specifically.  The Chico/Jeron interview was icing on the cake.

I listened and can you imagine how much funnier it would be if Chris had a Jeron and Chico puppet?

It's very telling how dismissive Chris gets whenever a side conversation about skateboarding starts to occur. I'm glad they called 35th and discussed the situation. Quite an unfortunate situation, but it's good that they're able to handle it as well as they can.

Also would be funny if they compiled audio clips of hosts or guests impersonating people, then got the person being impersonated to lipsynch the segments. Sorta like Drunk History.

They mentioned on one Nine Club how Crob dubbed over a Crail Couch interview with Jeron in his Jeron voice, but the video unfortunately got deleted into the abyss of YouTube years ago.

He seems to hate talking about mundane stuff like hating on colored grip & discussing different wheel colors/small differences in sizes of skate equipment. Roger and Kelly nerd out on that stuff and Crob gets all like "ughhh who cares you fuckin' geeks" haha. I'm with Chris on that one.

It's absolutely mundane, but I feel like the nerdiness is a big draw of this show, no? I don't actually care that much about colored griptape discussion, but I think it's cool that Roger is at least trying to solicit conversations about skateboarding in general rather than just read a list of sponsor changes and say it's "sick". I dunno, there's been a few instances before where they'll try and have a conversation about skating that isn't just industry news and Chris will immediately try and shut the discussion down.

I don't wanna complain too much though, it's just an observation. Credit where credit is due, I enjoyed them talking about general skateshop happenings after the 35th story was told. It's not a focal point of the conversation, but I like the mundane.

I think the nerd stuff is maybe the best part aside from the truly crazy stories. CRob seems to fall back on the general "This is your life" type questions but I'd rather hear weird insights into skaters' personalities than what hardware company they rode for after their shoe sponsor went out of business.

I like the tension -- you can feel skate nerd is about to break out at any moments and when it comes through the seams it's great, but crob keeps shit on track.
