Re-learning to skate
« on: October 11, 2018, 03:35:48 PM »
Hey everyone, I'm brand new here so sorry if this is a common question.
I used to skate in my preteen years and am just now falling in love with it all over again, but I've reached a road block. When I was a kid, I would only ride my board goofy, but could only do tricks with my left foot forward. Predictably, this is the case now and I hate twisting my body awkwardly to perform tricks while riding, so I'd like to correct this issue. Would it be easier for me to learn to skate regular or do tricks my right foot forward or would either be equally hard? I appreciate the help!

Keep doing tricks with your left foot forward, but stop twisting around and learn to just push with your right foot.
