Guess he never got a legitimate sponsor for the "cover (or three)" that was all but in the bag for 2019.
Warm Up Zone. Let's watch some skateboarding videos.

first he was looking for "a few good brands" - https://www.slapmagazine.com/index.php?topic=102220.0. now he's looking for a shoe design job to present itself?

Quote
After designing shoes for the better part of the last 16 years, and really thinking my future was headed toward a position in shoe design, the next opportunity to design one still hasn't presented itself – at least, not yet.

at least he hasn't lost his knack for storytelling. his episode of the nine club is still one of my favorites.

Quote
I just recently revisited the spot in San Diego that I ollied in the opening section of my video part in the Color video. I knew it was pretty far, and had measured it by walking it off with my feet, and guessed it was somewhere in the 19-and-a-half foot range. Well, this time I actually had a tape measure with me and was able to confirm that not only is it in the 19-and-a-half foot range, but judging by where I landed in the footage, it may really be the first documented 20-plus foot ollie. Still pretty incredible that it was even possible back then, especially when you consider the 39 to 40mm wheels. Crazy.

Judging off of this:

A few designers I think are hitting it right on the head design-wise are Benny Gold, Bohnam, Loser Machine, Dark Seas and Shepard Fairey, to name a few.

I'm very, very confident that while I'm a fan of some of his previous work, I really don't need to see any more of Jeremy's work if he is going to try and use Benny fucking Gold and Loser Machine as inspiration.
For someone w.no signature ur awfully hostile, & that is why I do this

I'm always surprised by the lack of fairy jokes being launched around him.

That was far to short of an interview.

Jeremy Wray was one of the gnarliest skaters ever. I can't help but believe there's something weird/difficult/mysteriously unappealing about working with him though. Nobody who charged as hard as him has been so left out to dry by so many sponsors. He's like Markovich, but I don't know what his secret downside is.

He’s like... sneakily arrogant and seems super hung up on the past.  Also his second Adio pro model sold a zillion pair because they fit perfectly into the early 00’s frat boy puffball craze, not because he’s a brilliant designer.

God strike me down but i'm starting to notice it. 'They used a ramp so it doesn't really count' on the triple set. 'It was really big and if you look at where i land, i might have done the first 20 ft ollie.'
It's stuff he has every right to be proud of but it's impolitic to be the one saying it. He should have Jonas in all his interviews as a hype man so we can all be apprised of his accomplishments without him having to let us know personally.

Agreed. Looking at some Wray Bro stuff, it falls in line with who he likes. Basic hipster graphic designs, and while some stuff almost looks cool it comes off corny. I guess he wants to be in that Loser Machine/Benny Gold market.

Damn I left my bubbler at my parents house

I wanted to pay my respects, and buy something from wraybros but sadly everything I'd be down for is sold out and all the logos are just not creative. If only he'd use his artistic ability to design his boards or clothes, I'm sure the company would grow business
