The team fits the branding. I'd add Julien Stranger, BA, and Andy Jenkins.

elissa steamer
silas baxter-neal
nick boserio
chet childress

(i’m currently at work and not trying to figure out how to post the ig announcement here, @stumptowncoffee if you’d like)

i work in coffee, so this is actually pretty sick. didn’t know chet childress was still skateboarding, let alone picking up sponsors so i’d say this is a cool day.

how long until this fizzles? one year? even less? let’s discuss.

Same but this worlds colliding is kinda freaking me out I don’t think I like it.

@Stumptown I’ll stop trying to steal your accounts if you send me a good enough box

hahaha i feel this. it’s always been nice having my coffee and skateboarding lives separate. i don’t even like working with other skateboarders. i barely like when my skateboard friends come in for coffee. always weird.

Shame Stumptown coffee has gone really down hill in the last few years. Noosa Familia roast a far better bean these days.

Starbucks sucks, Starbucks is like the 'darkstar' of coffee.

Pretty stoked Nick is on the team. I work for Stumptown at one of their cafes. The marketing for it seems mostly in touch and just a little bit out of touch. But the reason it’s happening is because people who are higher up in the company, including the original founders, are actually skaters. The new issue of Bloom, the stumptown magazine thing, is the skate issue and will have some good content. For every bag sold of their new “skate blend” or whatever, they donate a dollar to three non-profits including Skate Like a Girl so it seems pretty cool. They also put out a short film with Rick McCrank and Ray Barbee awhile back called Flower of Flowers.

True but imagine a coffee stained wheel with sketchy writing saying Stumptown. I'd pay full price for F4 conicals like that. Never gonna happen and I only typed that because I drunkenly thought everyone on Stumptown was on spit. I am a fool

Yep...Didn't want to say it but yes, since they were bought out. Used to love it. Lived around the corner from the SE Division location. Had friends work there. Met Duane the owner back in the day but its not the same since that take over.

A bean sponsor is probably more important than a board sponsor. It’s like $15 for a little bag.

Dill on Starbucks and New York Times.

Slightly off topic but still on.... what’s a good stumptown roast?  I bought hair bender and it was ok, a little too light for me.

I like a good, rich coffee tasting coffee

They should put Ethan Fowler on
