Starbucks? Letecia, Prod, Yuto, Cab, Reynolds, Tom Schar? Atiba.....
Pretty stoked Nick is on the team. I work for Stumptown at one of their cafes. The marketing for it seems mostly in touch and just a little bit out of touch. But the reason it’s happening is because people who are higher up in the company, including the original founders, are actually skaters. The new issue of Bloom, the stumptown magazine thing, is the skate issue and will have some good content. For every bag sold of their new “skate blend” or whatever, they donate a dollar to three non-profits including Skate Like a Girl so it seems pretty cool. They also put out a short film with Rick McCrank and Ray Barbee awhile back called Flower of Flowers.
Shame Stumptown coffee has gone really down hill in the last few years. Noosa Familia roast a far better bean these days.
