Drugs fucked up a lot of people that i know. Some killed, some got killed and skateboarding? You can forget that. How can you skate your best when you can’t even move properly due to being high?

that’s not the picture I’ve been told, rumors of him having a ‘handler’ to help him function because  he’s too fried.

So I’m glad to hear that you had a different experience

Papo I'm assigning you Baker 3, Antihero's Fucktards and Bronze 56k's "It's Time" as homework so you can learn that, yes, you can skate well on drugs

What’s the point? I’ve seen the videos and nobody skates better when drugged or drunk. I can only imagine how much better these clips were.

Reading that Uncle Freddy Chromeball really brought home how many of my favorite historical skateboard maneuvers were most likely committed to film or tape under the heavy influence of drugs and booze.

The things you don't consider when you're a young buck looking up...

And it ain't just the piss drunx or the krusty bowl trolls kids... Even your P-Rod's and Shane O's have probably snorted a fair few mountains of the great white right-to-party in their time.

I think it was Reynolds epicly laterd where he says everyone thinks weed is the gateway drug but it’s really alcohol. That’s grown on me the last few years as I’ve realized drinking is really my issue over anything else. It’s been so normalized in society you basically have to have a failing liver for people to be like this is a problem.

That being said I haven’t had a drink in 5 days now and I’m not sure how I feel yet but the extra cash in my pocket is nice. Dunno how long it’ll last but I’m excited to see how skating is sober cause it’s felt like it’s lost it spark for me the last few months.

I haven't drinked in the past month, best decision i made. Being always faded fucked my relationship with a great girl and so on. Skating sober feels great. Now i feel like i can support my friends who need me. Don't have to fear while driving and stuff. When i need a beer i drink zero alcohol beers and helps me to chill out. I don't smoke weed anymore but i do smoke cigs, everyone needs something.

I'm starting to question whether you're actually Bruce Willis.

Thank you for the laugh - needed that...

To anyone trying to quit, take a break from, or just cut back on weed without developing a nicotine addiction: I recently got a CBD vape and it’s nice. Not everyone will need it for sure but if you just know you gotta puff on something every now and then but don’t want that to be nicotine this is a good alternative. The relaxing effects of CBD are nice too. I would say get a good cartridge that is organic, doesn’t have weird chemicals, and is not flavored or any of that weird shit. Luckily my friend works for a company that makes good ones.

What's the company your friend works for?  I'm looking to take a little break but there's so many companies out there, but I'm not sure who I can really trust.

Unsure why some or you have such a boner against this article. It’s nice finally seeing some of these people share their personal story instead of just hearing it offhanded.

This doesn’t mean thrasher is going straight edge, it’s just showing young people dangers associated and in tyshawn’s case you can not partake at all and still be great.
Suns out, im going skating. chow

If a trick was done wasted, its not promoting drugs and alcohol, its promoting the skater. Even the likes of Dollin who says it helped him throw down are semi deluded. It may have helped them see a point to risking injury for the sake of a few pairs of shoes or scene glory, but it didnt help them do the trick. That comes down to the years of practice in the local skate park. I rate people who can succeed while being under the influence as much if not more than those who do it sober.
