Vans Temporarily Close Retail Stores until 4/5

I know they are corporate mongrels, yeah, yeah, yeah....

But they are closing their store fronts until 4/5 to ensure that their retail employees are not anymore exposed to COVID-19 than they need to be.

Went skating by myself today and had a blast. I'm off until 3/30 as I am a teacher. Let's all keep each other going. It'll be strange but isolation from friends to maintain health is for the best....

Regardless of how we may feel about each other on here (or present as to how we feel) stay well everyone.

According to Vans' Instagram announcement, all employees will receive full pay and benefits during the closure. (In North America). Not sure about the rest.

That’s a solid move they are paying their employees while they are closed. I’m of work until 4/20 at the moment go figure that’s the date they chose lol

VF made the call to close all doors, which includes Vans.  Deciding to pay the employees is essentially not a choice at all.

I am a Social Skills teacher at a private alternative school. It’s my first year and it’s grand!

I also am a licensed therapist that works through a contract from an agency I did case management and mobile therapy at for four years.

Vans are in fact paying their employees. My apologies for forgetting that crucial info.
