Imagine thinking the TFunk offered ankle support. Lol The low and the high top are paper thin around your ankle = no protection.
Imagine thinking ankle support means only some padding around your ankle.. It comes from the soles and how they sit on your feet.
They're great for my fucked up feet. Skating 3rd pair of hi tops with Footprint elites and low tops with stock insoles had become my favourite shoe for work/stand and walk around all day. Only downside is as Evans, the soles wears flat pretty fast. At first they felt little awkward to skate cos of that thickness, but once i get used to it I love it.
Imagine me letting my dislike of TFunks shoe override what I don't know about it through my opinion. 🤦🏻♂️
When trying them on in a shop I did not feel that they offered good ankle protection on the collar, heel cup, or cushioning of the sole but I'm a cupsole skater nowadays so that probably explains why.
On the contrary, I loved Evan's low and hi top before they did the "zero" version. It was wide in the toe and skated great. Good amount of cushioning throughout. I learned FS crooks in them and I wanna owe it to the shoe and not my skills haha
