Same. Must have doubled as a board brand? I mean a lot of skate shops have their own boards but possibly only Willy's does a pro board? Willy is a legend tho, so I get it. Willy Santos has not been on my radar for a long, long time.

With all that said, I feel like the title should have been " Dude that front blunted El Toro is on Pizza".

At one point, if I recollect correct, Willy's Workshop was a combo skate/barber shop, where you could grab a set of bolts/bearings/whatever, and then get a tight fade from Willy himself, who was (at least, as the stories at the time went) cutting hair there himself.
I guess his fam had/has a history in the barber shop biz(?)
An honorable profession, that.

Man, I don't know if I am just getting older and out of touch, but it is insane that this dude did a fs blunt on el toro and I had no clue who he was.

Also, I asked Willie Santos to sign a pair of DuFFS after he left the team. Holy shit, he was beyond bummed and I was too young to understand why.

Nah. That was a place in Nasty City in the early/mid 90's, think it was called Cut'n'Fades. Idk if one of his bro's was a barber or what. Pretty sure Willy was never cutting hair.
Skateshops were after 2000 and were in Mira Mesa and PQ. Also had a Hawaiian BBQ in Mira Mesa. He did a lot to support his fam..

Nah. That was a place in Nasty City in the early/mid 90's, think it was called Cut'n'Fades.

Grew up in Nasty City. Got a couple of haircuts at KAFE. It was just south of National City in Otay Mesa. I completely forgot about that place.

He was connected with them for a bit – which was the barbershop/skateshop – then went and built Willy's Workshop out in PQ.
