Stokemuch is the dude that caused Feedback Ted to lose his job.  Feedback Ted presumably gets some stuff from Supreme.   Stokemuch made an attempt to go after Weck.  Stokemuch made an article about the Carlyle investment in Supreme 6-7 months after it happened.   Weck made one of his cute videos to enlighten us all on the hardships of capitalism and the evils it causes, but happily accepts his Nike box.   See the latest info on Muslim internment camps in China that get to work in a Nike factory.

I now understand Weck could have made the video after being blocked.  Flawed logic there on my part.  But Wecks an idiot, Stokemuch is now whining because Weck, Monster Children and others stole his social justice warrior card by posting about the Carlyle group connection to supreme. 

Stokemuch ain't doing shit but whining about not getting attention.

What does any of that have to do with what I said? Are we bots?

Some people want a Nike box (weck) or a Supreme box.  Some people want to sell their magazine.   Some people like Gentle Jones aren't going to throw out that box of free shit someone sent them to shut them up.  I'm saying its disingenuous when you look at the messenger.  Not shooting them down, but there's base layer of hypocrisy goin on.

I wouldn't go that far. He was about to ride for Adidas until the deal fell through, and while Burton isn't publicly traded, it was a fairly large company. He also rode for Vans prior to Gravis.

Even without them being owned by a soulless megacorp, Supreme sucks.

It's one of those companies that does a really good job of getting the "right" people to wear their clothes, and creating an industry in-crowd based on free product and access to their network, to give the appearance that it has cultural capital. But if you go by the store in NYC for example it's an insulting and embarrassing experience that tailors to vloggers and 16 year olds pending daddy's money; their business itself has nothing to do with skateboarding. Not one fucking actual skateboarder in sight. 100 out of 100 actual skateboarders would skate right past that shitty ass store anytime after 2005 or so on their way to an actual skateshop.

In other words, the only skateboarders that actually like this companies image, products, or shop, are the 50-100 people who are paid to, or those in the Supreme clique. I don't know anyone else in real life that does.

AND also their owned by this comic-book-villain-ass megacorp so there's that too.
