Looks like the perfect amount of wear so they are not quite new, but not ground down too much.

What was the reason for swapping out / back?

Just curious.

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

I’ve ridden Aces for about 5 years and I wanted to try 8.75 decks. I usually skate 8.5 which is no problem with 44’s.
I figured I’d give Indys a try again but they don’t feel like they turn at all -  I can’t go back anymore...for better or worse. My only complaint with Ace is the hanger surface doesn’t grind as well on some surfaces as other trucks.

Cool and thanks for the reply.

I think that is the one thing with Ace not having the "in between" sizes, which I have heard might change in the near future.

The 44 being just under 8.5 and then 55 being about 9 means you either go under or over on trucks on boards around 8.75 size.

Ended up ordering a Blood Wizard 9”. I really wish Ace would just make an 8.5

I put three washers on the inside of each axle before the wheel, nut just fits (usually no bearing spacers) and they fit fairly well on my usual ride with 56mm classic full / conical full size and shape wheels.  Not everyone is keen to weird out trucks like that though.
