@nollieboulala holy shit i loved trudger's paradise! so i agree, josh is definitely a triple threat.

Greg Hunt is one of my all-time favs, his part in Tincan Folklore is probably the most underrated skate part imo, even though people know it. If you havent seen it, please check it on a big screen with some headphones or decent speakers. I think he had a big hand in making that video with Dune, could be wrong though.

Has really no one mentioned Reynolds yet? I'm sure I've seen him filming, but more than that he's basically edited and overseen all of Baker and Deathwish's video output for two decades.

Didn't know Jesse Alba is behind the recent Stussy vids, they're very nice.

I wonder what a partially inverse list would look like. Are there any skate filmers who have really great output but can not skate at all?

I'm gonna go watch the stussy videos for that reason now. I didn't even know that still existed. I loved Stussy. Limpys was the actual truth tho. I feel all skater/ bass players / dick drawers from back then agree. Limpys was #1 maybe Jimmy'z for argument as maybe #1. It's definitely close.

I had a killer Stussy shirt that I printed on top of. That logo was ill

Rickk Howard definitely filmed a lot at one stage and had a big hand in Mouse etc…aka Corey Weincheque.

My vote goes to Greg for sure.
Film wise he’s on another level.

Gustav definitely has something going on though.
I would like to see him move beyond the VX to take it to the next level.

I guess you need to mention Stacy Peralta?

Gustav is one of the most talented skaters of all time, and he's no slouch behind the lens

Ben Chardourne is definitely up there

I like Miguel Valle's filming and he rips too

@pekkaaa is also part of the conversation

also, does Max Geronzi get behind the lens on Gronze stuff?  Or am I not remembering that right?

Pekka doesn’t really get as much attention but the man constantly posts the most insane story clips. A Pekka part like Ben’s part you linked above would be lovely.

Title has been awarded to Ryan Gee long ago. Bam wasn’t lying “shitgoose needs a pro model”
Alex Olson never had the makings of a varsity athlete.

What about Beagle? Certain tricks he's done stick out to me like the long balanced nosegrind on like three tables in BHADW1

Brian Panebianco of Sabotage needs a mention
[close]
also

Jamie Thomas been doing both games since his Invisible days, he's up there fighting the title with gustav
Geoff Rowley/Arto Saari in their Sorry days were filming themselves pretty well
[close]

I like zero edits. Idk what he was doing different. When it wasn't like rapid fire hammers the clip orientation or track orientation or something was off from everyone else. It worked so good.

Totally spaced on Jamie, he is up there for sure.

Jamie gotta be up there love him or hate him. So many iconic videos and parts he had a hand between zero mystery and fallen. Those videos and the guys defined an era. Plus all that shit with muska and the circa era. The chomp part. Welcome to hell. He's been involved in so much shit that's history both behind the camera and as a skater. It's hard to not put him top 3 maybe even top 1 when you realize all the shit he had his hand in and how many dudes he filmed turned legends who's parts and videos are looked back on with nothing but admiration and praise it's a easy pick for me. It's mental to think about all the shit he was doing on a board while simultaneously filming dudes like the dude used to spend all day getting broke off and than turn around and film dudes all night idk he's gotta be one of the goats in this category. The dude was a skate media machine on every level.
