Yeah I don’t know where I got the spiral notebook thing from.  My bad.  Still not happy about the carpet.  I give it 6/10.

I wouldn't sell yourself short with the initial carpet analysis. It's a good possibility that it was manufactured between 1978-1983 and later installed in 2010 when time permitted. Maybe purchased at a carpet warehouse 30 years later at a discounted price and then installed?
