I hate that feeling.  Nothing ruins a good vid like a serious butt pucker.
Serious question ( to anyone), do you think a non skater feels the same synthesia?
Or do you think people have to be able to empathize? Like actually know what a slam feels like?

Do hockey players watch video clips of hard checks and feel the same?

Nothing bums me out more than seeing an ankle going the wrong way. (Apart from if I'm flicking channels and that dr pimple popper comes on)
I don't think regular people can relate to shit. I do think you have to know what it feels like to really empathise tho and even still it's hard to really remember pain properly. Even when you watch soccer and someone gets taken out (and they obviously do play it up) a normy will be like whatever as if that hurts and as someone who played legit it's like well yeah actually a 80kg+ person running full speed into your ankle does hurt a fair bit.

Even thinking about the slam section in In Bloom now makes my body tense up. That fucking song they use is really assaulting.

Not a fan.   It reminds of assholes in the street that laugh at you when you fall.   They can go ahead an do that.  Its their right to be an asshole for sure.
