It is an awful name. Is there a story behind why they chose it? I lost two of my closest friends, and went through hell for years when my step-brother was using. When I fist saw the brand it made my stomach hurt. I feel like the vast majority of skateboarders in the US have had some part of their lives negatively impacted by opiates whether it was themselves, a family member, or someone close. I could never wear or ride something that said Heroin on it and figured they would follow the Mike V. brand trajectory. Proving again I am completely out of touch.

Fun Fact. I walked into Slam City Skates in London where I saw my old friend Chris Pulman working behind the counter circa 2003. I said "Hi Chris, what does your Mother think now your on Heroin?" He laughed hard and said Hi, I then asked was that the first time you heard that joke, which he replied yes.

Kinoshita is the shit. There are a couple of locals at that park that have dorky YouTube channels and sometimes post clips with him. I'm not fond of that YouTube skater nonsense but check their channels regularly because it's worth it for Kinoshita's old man hammers.
