TIL: ONE OF MY MOST FAVORITE JAZZ MUSICIANS WAS STACY PERALTA'S SON

I was listening to my jazz playlist and an Austin Peralta song came on, and I remembered how much I loved the artist so I looked him up to see why he hadn't released anything else only to find out that he had died nearly ten years ago.

I also found out that he was Stacy's son which should have been more obvious but I thought maybe it was common. Anyway this is probably a really silly topic but if you like jazz you should definitely check him out he was amazing.

RIP... found out about his talents through Flying Lotus and Teebs. Always had a nice flavor to bring to the ears. I vaguely remember reading about how he was Stacy Peralta's son, but never gave it much thought

Sad story, passed away too young, can't possibly imagine how devastating that was to his parents. That's the only situation where I would take my own life - if my son passed away.

He had some success in the jazz festival circuit playing for other well known artists.  He then got put on brainfeeder and produced some great music.  Ode to love is probably my all time favorite tune by him.

When i heard he passed i was gutted as he was one of my favorites as well
