There was a German skateboard company called cannaboards. They where advertised as unbreakable but lost their pop quite fast.
Hmm, well this article states that the wood is 20% stronger than Oak, more resistant to water and less likely to warp.
Seems weird that a harder board would lose pop faster.
I did find this but I cant read it:
https://renewable-carbon.eu/news/cannaboard-skateboards-nature-goes-high-tech/-"Hemp wood does not only look and feel like real hardwood, but it’s quite durable as well. In fact, it’s scientifically engineered to be 20% harder than oak."
-"Hemp wood is highly waterproof since the hemp fibers are tightly glued together using the binder. Unlike regular wood, it isn’t susceptible to rot and decay. It is also designed to reduce the likelihood of twisting and warping that’s common in other hardwoods."
