Many moons ago I went to a show he played. After the last song of the encores he threw his plectrum into the crowd. I wasn't the only one looking for it. RIP.

Only had a passing knowledge of MC5 from reading "Please Kill Me" -- lots of good quotes from MC5 in there. but never seen this vid, Insane. No wonder that book frames them the foundations of punk. Thanks for posting.

One of my favorite books. Some real good Stooges and MC5 stories, especially the ones told by Ron Asheton.
