Post the oldest picture of you skateboarding that you can find

Found these at my dad’s, didn’t know they exist. Taken in 1993, before I knew skate shops and videos. I only had some TV recordings and a German 'Skateboard' book to go by. This was my first proper board, got it from an older kid who had stopped skating. Titus Skateboards Anders Pulpanek pro model, Indys, Powell Streetstyle wheels.

i had older photos but can’t find any, this is from 2015 (i started in 2011), i was 15 years old. the board was an enjoi with a powell ripper spoof graphic, silver trucks (lol) and mini logo wheels. shoes are etnies maranas



this is the oldest footage of me i could find, it says 2014 but some footage is from 2013. i went through a few boards while filming this, a toy machine sect eye, some baker board, a polar hjalte (red board with a dude eating his belly in a burger) and grey stereo arrows deck. a lot of weird shoes back then too, the red etnies with a foam sole (think these were called highlight?), dvs inmate with the clear green sole, vans chukka lows (navy/gum, those were actually kinda cool), fucking circa sierra fellers in a black/camo colorway. thunder trucks, busenitz pro model with a thumb up graphic. the colored wheels were bones 100s party pack and the white ones were classic formula jeff grosso spitfires that came with a water based tattoo (?) instead of a sticker. i somehow put that tattoo on a wallpaper in my room and it’s still there

Spring 1989 (i have some older ones but they're really fuzzy). I remember that when I was learning kickflips they always rotated backside a little bit. I've pretty much straightened them out by now tho

I don't have photos of me from very early years, but here is one of a very good homie Boyan (RIP) that got me into sk8ing.. I got to the local sk8 crew in the end of 96 and we didnt have modern day boards (popsicles), just some old and heavy socialist made boards from the 80s and we were mostly cruizing and ollieing around, the best trick we ever did was a kick flip. It wasnt until 99 when i got my first popsicle and the progression started to happen.

It was in 2001, no actual trick photographed Im only pushing, but it was the same day I finally commited to land a rolling kickflip and landed with both feet in the middle snapping that shitty mall board... my first broken board of hundreds to come

Thanx, bro! I have been skating a couple of years before this. I have to look at my parents house for some old photos. This thread is very nice. The first years of skating are so sweet and may be the best ones.
