When I first started to use the internet I was playing Thrasher Skate and Destroy for PS1 a lot. I always played as the character Scab, so that's what I used as a username the first time I registered on a forum. Must've been 2000 or so.



I wish I could say I actually skate like that.

It's Greek for nobody. It's what Odysseus told the cyclops Polyphemus his name was when he was trapped in the cave. Later, when Odysseus and his buddies stabbed him in the eye with a burning stick and Polyphemus started screaming in pain, the other cyclopes were like, "Are you ok?" and then Polyphemus was like, "Nobody is trying to kill me!" so they were all like, "Oh, ok, guess he's fine." Probably the funniest thing anybody has ever written.

Anyway, mostly I just chose it cause I'm just some fucking guy, doesn't really matter what I have to say, just here to be a nerd about skateboarding.

Was watching a documentary when making the account about people in papa new guinea and they believe in these witches called suangis. Dark shit now that I think about it.

"A suangi is a common name of a male who is suspected, and therefore accused, of being a witch in the belief system of local people in western Papua, Indonesia. Suangis are said to eat the blood and/or internal organs of their victims and then stuff the bodies with leaves and grass. They are also believed to devour the person's soul. My username was actually given to me by Ted barrow, im on his patreon and 3 years ago he was doing fit reviews so i sent in which now i would never wear. It was a dark red and black flannel with thin lines, black pants, and a black beanie which was covering my ears (atrocious). And i sent the photo in my old shop and he went on about how people would wave to go into the shop pass the cariumas ( we didnt carry cariumas thank god) and ask me to grip their board because i "look like a griptape goblin, a grip tape goblin dressed in black". And i jus thought that was absolutely hilarious so i just ran with it and now its my username everywhere.

Lol, no. Whilst I'm sure it's an great album I can't say I've really listened to it. I did listen to The Mark, Tom and Travis show a lot though.
