Flatground is the best thing ever.

I don't know about you, but the only thing that makes me happy in skateboarding is to ride flatground, and have fun playing game of skates with my friends !

I skate since 15 years ago, and i m 30.

When I  younger , I already liked it a lot, but I also did a lot of gaps, banks, hip transfers... but over time, I no longer feel the motivation to get started and skate modules. And especially that I'm afraid as I get older.. ;D

I still want to skate for a long time, and I don't know why, but in the flat I feel comfort and confidence!

In terms of progression, it's a real pleasure, you can learn so many things and evolve.. (Learn switch tricks again etc..)

I didn't talk about ledge, because I've always sucked at it, and never had fun doing it ahah

Who like me, will finish his years of skateboarding doing only flatground, because this is so wonderful and fun ? :D

(But, one day, Maybe,  i would also motivate myself to learn the manuals, it's the nicest thing in skateboarding, and it's not so scary ! )

Speaking of flatground and France, it's so cool that Palais de Tokyo and Hotel de Ville got resurfaced and repaired. Major props to whoever was involved in those initiatives (assuming skateboarders were involved). The ground at both of those spots was pretty horrible when I went there around 2009. I wonder how Bercy is doing now. That spot was so rad when I went, but I don't see any footage from there.

The only major broken bone I suffered that required surgery (twice!) was the result of a manual gone wrong. So be careful.
