Going off of the advertisements i thought the Enjoi video Bag of Suck would be mostly goofy stuff, but ended up LOVING it. Anyone have any similar experiences?

To be completely fair...... GODSPEED. Zach Saraceno especially, I've said that a few times on here. Yea it was pretty long, yea there was a lot of stairs, yea some of the music was pretty wack, yea midler is a tool, but there was an insane amount of top level skateboarding in that video.

There was a half-page ad in Transworld for Tony Hawk's new skateboard company. You could mail away $5 and they would send you a VHS tape of their new video. I wasn't sure that my $5 would even make it there, but it was cheap enough, even at 11 years old, that I couldn't miss out. Anyway, that first video was Feasters.

Very different level but this prompt reminded me. Theres this dad and kid that goes to my local who are both equally annoying. The dad used to have a good amount of sponsor and honestly could have made it but had some life stuff that stopped his career and his kid is a 5 year old who can barely pop. The dad filmed a little VX part for his kid that somehow turned out to be reallly good. There were no flips and no popping more than an inch off the ground but somehow it was a damned good video full of ride on grinds and rolling off drops.

Godspeed got me way stoked. The fall from grace has been entertaining to say the least.

Bob Burnquist's "Dreamland" Part

I'm not usually into vert or mega ramp, but this part is fucked.

At that point, I think the only "new school" video I had seen was a Thrasher one that my brother borrowed from a guy at his school on my behalf, and which our VCR subsequently ate before we could dub it. Everything I had seen prior was Powell, H-Street, etc. Shit just didn't get to the suburban Midwest back then, so Feasters blew my mine. I probably learned to kickflip by watching that shit in slow-mo and then repeating it in the driveway.
