I think there're more streets spots in the eastside architectures of cities.The topography is different and older and that may have some impact on that.

Yea, the east coast cities are basically a "modern" (albeit ancient) version of European cities prior to skating ever existing so obv no one was trying to prevent it. Before building codes they also sort of did what "made sense" in building versus what's safest. All this might create better and more unique spots.
