Switch manny front shuv
« on: February 15, 2024, 10:11:35 AM »
Been getting so frustrated trying this, I have good sw mannys and good sw fs shuvs but i just cant keep it under me. When you guys do them, do you hang your toes off the board like when doing a swfsshuv on flat because I try that but it feels really unnatural in the manny and when i put my feet how i normally do sw mannys i cant get a good shuv i just kinda fling it behind me. any tips for this one?

Try to have your upper body centered when in the manual. If you lean your torso forward over your toes the board will go behind you easier. It doesn’t take much force to make it shuv either so try to be light with the touch. If you’re trying it on a short pad, maybe try it on a longer one so you have more time to get into a comfy switch manny, but you say you got em good so that’s probably not an issue. Switch manny can be so hit or miss for me. I’m either locked in or flailing around and scraping bad.
