Joseph Garbaccio's "Cauchemardesque" street part
« on: February 10, 2024, 02:14:04 AM »

French power ! For me, an underrated skater... Big big tricks on well-known French spots.

Amazing.

The montage and filming are not amazing...but the tricks are impressive. I think he was on Jart at some point and wonder why he never had a legit board sponsor or filmed any parts.
He used to won a lot of contest in France and he's doing youtube now, and just started to work with Decathlon. It's a weird career, but I'm sure he's doing right.

Yes but know that its sponsor is only "decathlon skateboarding" and not Decathlon, I know the people who work there and it's really independent at the Decathlon store, it's managed separately from the sports store, it's really 100 % skate despite the brand name, and managed by real skaters.. I think those who criticize this are hypocrites because the
Most of them wore Nikes Sb or Adidas.. I can understand his choice because Decathlon skateboarding is growing more and more and the products are relatively good quality and the brand image is good.

To come back to his part, it's really a big hammer and it's at the same level as the Americans who ride in France.. At least in my simple opinion. Still shocked by the last trick.. it absolutely must be seen everywhere, it's an iconic spot and above all very difficult to skate.. (We remember the battle of Eniz favlioz on the blunt front)

And yes, Joseph have a really good mentality.. He is unfortunately underrated, we give him too much of the image of a YouTube or contest skater when he has a lot of ability and incredible tricks.. He deserves to be seen much more than a certain Adrien Bulard at horrible mentality..

Not a fan of the skate stuff from decathlon but they buit a free small indoor park under their office that is open basically all day. Really makes a difference in the winter.

Title of the video doesn't really help..
Decathlon is sick they have like really cheap tents if you like to camp.
Not sure about the quality of the skate shoes and decks they produce but I've heard its really ok and prices are really lower than what you get in Skateshops these days obviously

For the certain shoes that I was able to try, they lasted much longer than Emerica or Vans.. Honestly perfect value for money. I haven't been able to test the boards but I've heard good feedback.

Decathlon is a pretty massive outdoor/sports retailer in France (possibly elsewhere?).
Even if the skate department is independent of the main body and run by real skaters, that's still a pretty big pill to swallow and accept for skateshops and core brands.
All I hope is that the skaters involved are getting paid and taken care of properly.

That nosebluntslide was a banger for sure but a frontside bluntslide down this is gnarlier in my book, especially after hearing Rattray’s take on his nosebluntslide down the Clipper ledge.

And yes, Joseph have a really good mentality..

Shouting fils de pute instead of yeah or smiling after that ender wasn’t very Decathlon. I guess he’s keeping it real.
