cool effects, although it looked kinda amature-ish, especially that matrix treflip.

they should've showed more of that beatdown, though.

I dug the flip, but they had the timing off on some of their cameras making the board reverse and go forward.

I'm all for skaters getting bullied though... I look back on being hated fondly in a weird sort of way. It made all of us that stuck with it a little tougher I think.

I rarely venture into classic slap and the one time I do it I find a guy getting his dick eaten by a dolphin.

me and my friends used to call those hot lines in japan and we would say that we didnt care about girls anymore and that we were interested in dogs and the woman on the line got mad.
"we were going digital, ignoring all but the most core matter from history and focusing on the most complicated structures in order to make our lives more simple, but we could not escape from the cage, the past, and "reality" so we surrendered to short term drug euphoria." - John Albertson (on LSD)

yep. if not for skate harassment, i never would've learned how to defend myself.
that hotline should just have a recording that says "drygultch the biggest one, kick the second biggest in the knee, and run like hell."

i learned to drop in on a 4 foot mini ramp, no pads, strictly because the older dudes on the mini ramp wouldn't let you skate it unless you dropped in, none of that pumping from the bottom up bullshit.  i now see fully padded kids, learning to drop in on 2 foot banks holding hands with mommy.

fucking wusses.

i watched my brother almost get beat up by these little native kids that were smaller then him, at the skatepark. it was pretty funny. i was sitting there and there were like 4 little native kids surrounding him and telling him that their grandmother was going to come and kick his bum. then their grandma showed up and they left and my brother was scared, then he told my mom when we got home and she yelled at me for not sticking up for him. It is somewhat unnatural to get rid of the pecking order.  Even in the animal world, you have to stand up to the alpha males if you're to get any chance of survival or get a mate.

“Skaters are rebels” Reggie Barnes
“…If we create campaigns trying to sway skateboarders they will possibly rebel against it and go even more to non branded boards”
