yup!! i hate that i had to wait until 10pm to watch that, it wasnt live when they showed it here and i checked the olympic website this morning and they had already said he won and broke michael johnson's world record. 19.30 is seriously unreal! hopefully he'll get another gold his other event.

The most pathetic thing I see all day is when the tv stations here in Australia show the "Adjusted Medal Count" which shows medal to population ratio. It is the only way they can feel good about their olympics.

But now New Zealand is beating them in this made up competition so they don't show it anymore.

the US is looking pretty good.

well, on the nbc site they have a 'total medal count' rather than most golds to stay ahead of china. thats pretty bad, but the adjusted medal count is really terrible.

yeah ginobli left in the first quarter after an injury, but they still wouldn't have won. The US was crushing them on offensive boards, but their style of play is still so weird looking to me.
