None of these guys have been pro on other brands right?
Nope. “Closest” would have been Caleb on Krooked.
Wasn’t all that stoked until I saw Jeff is behind it. That dude’s got a great eye and a creative mind from all the work I’ve seen him put out. I hope to see this one succeed.

What are the politics in 2026 when a board brand is started by guys who havent been pro, or without a legacy pro on? Does being turned pro count??

obv in the current landscape tons of ams and even ig skaters skate a pro level and its simply a way to move product nowadays but was hoping to hear some takes

Looking like the full team is human neck, Caleb McNeely, Zac Gavin, Daniel Ravenal, Jake Cortez and KJ Thomas. Big fan of Jeff Cecere's videos so I'm excited to see the direction this goes, solid sub 1 minute teaser. Before they put this out or the boards, I had heard rumbles that Crockett was behind this, but maybe that was just rumors via the RVA connects. Wondering if Mother distro will help get this out into more shops

All good low key riders, but this seems kind of like a modern take on Hopps being East Coast centric and smaller names.

That Jake dude had a great Venture part and looks to be from SoCal. I saw he was on Chocolate flow, which could be purgatory but this seems like a step down as it's likely not going to be a brand that is much of a launching pad for riders.

Why did Caleb leave Krooked? If he's the one that left that seems like a strange career move considering you don't have to churn out tons of footage to stay on the team and it's likely to be around in 5 years and it's highly unlikely that this brand will be.

I love Mark's skating and like Quasi, but to be honest he doesn't fit at all with the direction they're going or a niche that any rider on the team used to have. Rizzo is a far step above and they don't need redundancy of that particular flavor of quick footed urban NY-centric stuff. At the same time it's kind of sicker not being on Quasi at this point.

WKND Already Answered This Ten Years Ago. If You Consider A Single WKND Pro To "Count" As A Pro Then All These Rad Skaters "Count" As Well When They Get Their Names On A Board
