Feel good video of the year! Fucking loved it! Another great output by foundation and don.

I remember when Aidan was on girl lol

another example of smyth blowing it

Smyth is just a meat shield for Rick and Mike’s bad decisions.  Wheatley gave them the keys to so many big skaters that they just ignored

If one of my friends’ kids asked me what new skateboard video to watch, this would certainly be my first suggestion.

This video feels just right.

Makes me wish I was a kid starting out on the wild ride of a lifetime of skateboarding again.

It had that effect on me. Honestly.

Beanwaters part definitely did not disappoint. Stoked to see one of the early Scram Lupe graphics Nolan did flash through. Oh and Rubys nose grind at Kona was sick as hell.

right there with everyone else. i'll probably watch it again later, as i have done with the last few of their vids - i remember really digging whippersnappers and watching it a bunch.

they just feel like videos i would've actually owned and watched growing up. like actual, memorable videos - always with a perfect length and genuine vibe that makes you want to skate after (it's raining here unfortunately, but i would be skating right now). the female presence is dope and hasn't ever felt tokenistic. ruby's pretty all-time! not sure if i've seen a part from her. she's had good clips in stuff for a while though. i wish there was a tania cruz part, she's sick. jesse rips so hard and has such epic 80s style that is not at all gimmicky or weird.

a few things that i didn't enjoy (i guess they stood out because i was enjoying everything else so much) i found the kind of title thing and end credits a major aesthetic disconnect. like the black background with gritty texture and white text on it and the sound/music that was with it. there was also a foundation logo in the thrasher logo style over the footage at one point and that looked a bit cheesy.

look forward to the next foundation video.

That video kinda sucked

Ruby killed it

The rest was just so generic

Also Jesse killed it when he was on scram
This part kinda sucked
Leaving scram and Indy for foundation and slappy
Then your part is the closer and it’s basically b roll compared to previous stuff

He skated better when he wasn’t getting paid $500 a month

Ok....Thats a re-branding?

I felt watching a WNKD or Sci Fantasy video. I always loved how they kept their identity throught the years with big rail dudes on the team mixing it with low impact criative skaters.

Now its just cool wannabes  trying to show how they are happy and cute in the session.

Did not expect to be stoked on foundation skateboards in 2026 but here we are. It wasn’t the most impressive skate video I’ve ever seen but it had that magical element that you can’t manufacture in that it immediately makes me want to go out and skate, and that’s all I’ve ever really wanted in a skate video.

Foundation doing all the right moves when a brand falls off.

New talent
New art
New direction

And most importantly a new video which displays the vision. Which is most important, cause a lot of brands will change. Historically I’ve never been a huge foskco fan. I never owned a board, but since they lost Corey flick they’ve seem to have gotten their shit together.

I enjoyed the video

yeah

i must say that video got me unreasonably stoked

been watching Heilman for a while now, but everyone else got me so hyped

if I can find a square/shovel nosed foundation it may need to be mine to back up this stoke

Lol. Eldee is definitely a human. He’s like a raider on horse back who’s kinda scared to do battle. Somehow he closes his eyes and swings his sword wildly and wakes up in a pile of dead orcs.

Fuck it I’m in! Even though he’s dropped a handful of amazing full lengths for these brands, I don’t think Don gets enough credit
[close]

the credit due would be the general support of the brand. I cant think of the last bad video F even made in the last forever. the worst videos they ever made were cataclysmic abyss and WTF. Only because they were coming off the heels of thats life and set the bar too high. Those videos rule tho.

Everything don has made for F starting with Oddity and the whole cole wilson movement to when glick showed up and we got splendor, star and moon, souvenir. All of which of them have been some of the better videos put out for those years.

For some reason, the general public just like to talk down on foundation with no real reason behind it other than they dont pay their team riders as much as red bull and nike does.

F gave us Steve olsen and HK, josh beagle, Leo, Duffel, Justin Strubing, Corey glick, ronnie creager, eathan fowler, angel ramirez.....

Honestly cant think of any reason to dislike this brand at any point in history
[close]

I think Tod Swank is the answer to the pay and the dislike
[close]

hes kind of non-existent in the whole entire skate universe at this point. who cares how much anyone is getting paid anyways? i was focused more on the quality and the watchability of the videos and their independent value. not how much tod pays julian lewis and if its fair or not...
[close]

Just saying from my experience foundation seemed like it wasn’t viewed great because it was run by a guy who didn’t treat his riders well - see them fucking over a young Omar Salazar or causing the mass Toy Machine exodus and it became a sub brand while Toy and zero got hot.   Duffel is a talented skater, but not who you want as the face of your brand back in the “I wish I had got on baker/zero” days
[close]

seems like you were some team rider or affiliated with this statememnt. Im just a dude who skates and watches skate videos his whole life. i couldnt give a shit what dudes like Jim T pay ishod wair or what tod swank said to bam margera. im just talking about how the videos have always been good for 30 years straight and how pretty much everyones favorite skaters have all come from the brand and that they are still sick to this very day. talking about money and swank is so random.

Zero getting big and F taking the back seat is just a natural thing. has nothing to do with any personal vandettas. like when FA came out, it wasnt to shit on alien workshop and habitat. it was just a new thing so the old thing falls to the wayside.

Braindead take of the week.

Video was great. Ruby is awesome.

This video feels just right.

On the nose. Lovely vid.

Everything felt so balanced, couldn't say who had the best/favorite part. Aidan was great, Lawler was so smooth even if his part was a bit shorter then the rest, Ruby is so graceful even when going powerful, Austin is great and dreamy (big ups for the Bruc Campbell comp...I was thing along the lines of hunkier Christian Slater).

Then Lindlof got off and he legit deserved the closing part.

Yeah, the editing and the aesthetic were not "classic FSKCO", but it was a nice way to bring the F a bit more up to date with current trends. And the vid was short enough for it not to get grating.

The drainage ditch at 16:40 seems unfathomable to me. Have always looked at those and imagined how hard it would be to skate down. Insane.
