ipod help?

My ipod decided to stop working. It stopped playing songs, it would just stay at 0:00 for every song I chose. So I do a manual restart and now all it will do is show an apple logo for about 5 seconds, and then a red X for another 5 and then turn off. any tips?

Ipods are capible of dieing two years after purchase.

I tried recharging mine a bout 10 hours,.. worked fine after that

Hook it up to your computer and let it resynch & then remove (unmount) it.
