i used to do tricks off ledges that were probably 8 feet high, do handrails, the works when it came to "scary" skating. granted most pros and ams do things way bigger but i wasn't even sponsored. i was skating a box about as high off of flat that this ledge is in this picture that david loy scorpioned on... somehow fell head over heels and broke my arm clean in half (both bones through the skin). had to have three surgeries, it was fucked. skating is weird like that... you can get hurt doing things that you would think you'd never get a scratch from, and skate scary shit all day and not even have a bruise.

to paraphrase: don't scorpion, or you'll ruin your chances of even being sponsored and have to resort to the slap message board.
