saving money.  the only thing that keeps me from doing what i want to do in life is a thin stack of pieces of paper.  about to resort to sellling fucking drugs, i can't stand being broke when the god damn government owes me money and won't give it to me.  meanwhile i get to watch all these trust fund babies just throwing it away.  i know how to stretch a dollar to the max but when everything is expensive as fuck anyways it doesn't even matter anymore.

Can't seem to roll away from a switch tre. I'm gonna go down to an 8.125 and see if that helps.

Haha. It's crazy that you're skating boards larger than that and even trying technical flip tricks. I'm super impressed.

As for tricks I'll never be able to do,

Switch or nollie 360 fips (I have varial flips both ways on lock, but the extra 180 is just too much.)
Regular 360 flips (have them fakie almost every try. I dunno.)
Backside flips

Fucking anything to fakie on transition. Pivots, blunts, ollies, anything.

I'll probably never learn any transistion stuff because I don't have a park to go to.  I can do rock to fakie and axal stall but thats about it.

backside tails to forward

This one is deceivingly difficult. If I come out to forward, I definitely don't pop out in any proper way.

Do a straight ollie like youre going back 50 then when you flatten out smack it into back tail. As opposed to rotate up to it. Try it. Works.

I'll most likely go to my grave never having done a regular hardflip.
Yeah, what helps is not turning your shoulders, the only thing is, when I do that, I tend to stick instead of slide. Some skate tricks are like fucking whack-a-moles, as soon as you solve one problem, a new one comes up. Of course, once you finally get it, it's fucking fantastic.
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”
I quit skating for a time due to piling out

i skate 8.2+ and do what i guess would be considered technical flip tricks. it's all relative to your shoe size. not sure what size you wear, but you're probably imagining flipping a board that size being hard cause they look heavy but i wear a size 12, so if i skate anything smaller than that size i'm toe/heel dragging everything i land and overflipping all of my tricks.

i can backside heelflip but have never been able to do an inward heelflip.  it's just such an awkward motion.

Hardflips and frontside flips.  I've landed about 20 okay frontside flips and no hardflips in 23 years of skating.  Backside 360 would be nice, but I can do frontside 360 so I don't sweat that trick too hard (I'd still love to land one before all hope is lost).

impossibles. one of the funnest looking tricks (in my opinion) just frustrates the hell out of me.

There's a trick to those. I remember trying forever and not getting close, then one day I watched an Ed Templeton part and noticed he put his back foot pretty far in on the kicktail, like so he was almost on the bolts. Sure enough, when I tried it that way they came pretty easy. The trick is that you don't have to pop the board like a 360 shuv, its more of a scraping and scooping motion, and it's all in your back foot. All your front foot needs to do is get out of the way. So the best way to learn them is to put your back foot so that the outer edge of your shoe is just touching the base of the kicktail, and your front foot is on the bolts. Concentrate on lifting your front foot up and pushing your back foot down and straight forward, if you do this right, then the rest of the trick lands itself. Also, narrower shoes help in my opinion, think Eras or CTS's or something like that.

fs airs

I try and try and try.  Stick it after an hour and land it,  Its a shitty process.  So envious of those blasting frontsides no problem.
