Hey everybody,
thanks again for your awesome help on my survey http://www.slapmagazine.com/component/option,com_jfusion/Itemid,4/index.php?topic=53946.msg1467358#new

Now, in order to complete my thesis, I need some texts from other sports to compare them to texts from skateboard media. I was thinking about concentrating on Basketball, Baseball and Football. Now the question is this:
What are the main magazines for theses sports where I could find interviews and stuff, plus, is there anything alike to epicly laterd in these sports? I'M not only using printed text but also speech and I can't seem to find anything really usefull on the web.
which also might be due to my complete ignorance on famous sportsmen in these categories.

Any help is much appreciated. The survey results will be online tomorrow!

I'm sports-regular man... my eyes glaze over once people start naming teams other than the Saints.

I can speak on basketball, main magazines are Slam and Dime, with Slam being the most popular of the two. Nothing too much like Epicly Later'd but there are A LOT of blogs on it. ESPN's TrueHoop http://www.truehoop.com being one of the most popular, best written. I'm also a fan of Ball Don't Lie http://sports.yahoo.com/nba. But for interviews Slam is going to have a lot of those, you just kind of have to dig. Slamonline.com also has a few things.

Not sure if this will help, I got an article about Reggie Miller. Dude talked so much shit he even pissed off Michael Jordan.

Hope this helps or points you in some kind of helpful direction... If not, at least it's interesting.

Thanks for the tip, Miller seems like a funny dude. Unfortunately it's not exactly what I need. I'm looking for interviews, interviews, interviews :) Are there really no basketball fans on here??
