It is thanksgiving, I'll be eating turkey in a few hours with the family, hope most of you will too.

--good family
--decent job
--roof over my head
--I'm old as fuck and still get to skate.

-My dad is around unlike most black dads
-My legs work
-I don't live in a 3rd world country
-I have my basic needs.

-most of my family, all of my friends
-still one of those goddamned kids on skateboard
-the weed guy calls every two weeks to see if levels are good, and there's no long visits when levels are down
-coffee & chicory super early in the morning while chilling with my two kittahz

I'm canadian so it's not my thanksgiving but daily I'm thankful for:

- my mom surviving and conquering cancer this year
- I'll be able to skate again in a couple months (been almost a year since i could stand on a board)
- a roof over my head
- a crew of family and friends that are untouchable
- living in north america (our shit seems really fucked up but in reality, there are people that would give their lives to have their loved ones be given the opportunities we get over here.)

and i'm extra thankful for the Arrested Development marathon going on all day today on IFC

-Amazing girlfriend that is way outta my league and she doesn't give a shit if I choose skating over her or friends.

-Great friends and pretty much all my childhood friends still skate just as much as we used to.
