thank you. it's an interview over a game of skate..... how seriously can you take it? the picture for the video is him giving davis a hug. i'm sure he was just bummed because he planned on winning. you can't really enter a contest with a cash prize & pretend you're not disappointed when you don't win, especially if you could have won. if you think the idea of contest skating is lame then don't watch contests? he does seem to have a stale personality though. & he's from australia.... i'm glad he keeps to himself.

also, this thread isn't really 'best & worst personalities' at all.... it's just people naming everyone they've ever met that was nice & name-dropping some people they follow on instagram/twitter that have said something they disagree with.

imagine fucking the dog shit outta chris roberts

Heath, Leo, Daniel Lutheran, John Cardiel, Biebel. I don't know, it's hard for me to hate someone's personality through videos and shit. But Adam Dyet would probably annoy me.

Two pros who have cheered on my utterly mediocre skating:

- Figgy
- Rodney Mullen

I think it's cool when someone who is light years ahead of you still appreciates how hard you try to accomplish simple shit.

Emmanuel Guzman's a cool dude. Pretty "loc'y" but real down to earth.

On the flip side, I saw Jim Greco at a bar and he seemed like an obnoxious loudmouth.

I didn't take the interview seriously, I thought he was a douche because HE took the interview seriously.  Fuck it, there's a lot more reasons why I think he's a bit of a douche.  I've been cracking up at the amount of Nike dudes that are kinda talking shit on him because he left in the middle of KOTR.
yeah i agree, it reminded me of when they interview sports players that just lost. i hadn't heard about the kotr deal yet though, is that in the new one or did you hear that from someone that was there? he seems pretty boring to me & i've always wondered if he was so soft-spoken because he knows his own opinions suck?

if you truly love something then you can appreciate sharing it with other people, no matter how much more/less talented you are then them. if you love skateboarding then you should love watching other people having fun or putting a lot of effort into something despite how complicated it actually is. now, if you were rolling around with a serious face doing yo-flips, vibing kids out & spitting on ramps... i'm sure they wouldn't have cheered for you at all. you should be hated on for being a prick & vibed out of the park no matter how good you are if you act like a jock.

best feeling there is is having a pro compliment your style, also nice to see they still appreciate the smaller stuff even though theyve seen (and done) way crazier shit

Worst dude out.

It's understandable to be good at skating and let the fame get to you, but this guy takes being dick to a new level, or is that just his personality as an entertainer?

I met jaws one time and he was super nice, signed my issue of thrasher. I also met Jon Goemann, he was quite but seemed to be nice. Ben Raybourn was friendly from what I remember. That's pretty much it, my town doesn't get too many demos...

I met Lavar Mcbride on a family trip when I was like 15. We skated the Pier for like 2 hours together. He was real cool.

Biebel told me that my friends and I could watch them (him, Omar, Kyle Leeper, Janoski) skate these ledges but that they were trying to work. Thought that was lame. I skated anyways.
say they ain't no gravity up there....mean we could get high and never come down....
