Dude, I hate it when somebody calls out an ABD and somebody else responds by saying skateboarding is all about fun.
Turkey Lurkey, are you a 12 year old girl? Because I think you're a 12 year old girl disguise yourself on the messageboards. Maybe 13. Definitely not over 15 for sure. You make the dumbest fucking comments of anyone on here. Quit skating. Now. That's assuming that in addition to lying about being a 24 year old male that you actually ride a skateboard. While it's true that you can probably do little harm from your mom's basement, you contradict yourself evertime you post and you litter up my posts with your insignificant little barbs. Go post on the 'whatever' portion of the board. Because all your posts fall under the category 'whatever.'
ps: Dallas is an am from what I understand. So your argument is moot anyway. Is he allowed to have fun now since he's not a pro? Or does being an am not allow you to have fun on your skateboard anymore either? Would you like to edit your comment to say, 'I hate when people say skateboarding is about fun. It's not if you're an AM.' I'd be kind of embarassed if my crowning moment as a pro on Santa Cruz got shown up by an am on Element. But that's just me.
Ok, sweetie pie, I don't know where that cute little ego of yours sprouted from, as if you somehow are the shit, and anybody respected you. My posts are insignifigant, but you certainly are not curing cancer with the crap that you pound on your keyboard. Pro, am, that shit is moot. Your arguing semantics in an attempt to avoid looking at the major point presented. Once you are in the professional skateboard industry, that is, are getting paid to get coverage, than the coverage you get is not for fun, its your job. I don't give a shit how much fun you had filming your part if it sucks. The job of professionals (and amateurs, you annoying little shit) is to get a good video part done, not prove that they can do shit others have already done. If they can have fun too, thats great, but I don't get hyped on good skate photos and say "WOW! Look how much fun he's having!" I don't think that Ron Whaley's crowning moment on santa cruz was that feeble. If I remember correctly, it wasn't even at the end of his part. Why would you say something like that, oh message board guru? Then again, even if it was his crowning moment, it was about 6 years ago that he did it, and I doubt he feels shown up. You miss the logic of not doing something thats already been done. Its just a weak way to end a part.
By the way, sugar, I like how you editted my post as if I hate the idea of fun in skateboarding. My original post makes it clear that that is not what I think. Actually, if you go to another thread about what sponsors give out, I talked about the fact that sponsorship is actually kind of lame because it makes skateboarding less fun, because you always have to worry about filming and impressing people because it becomes a job at that point.
Kid, stop being an annoying little kid.
