Fuck, just got around to watching it. RIP

I guess we've still got Van Alden, Eli and the Capones in Chicago next season to look forward to.

Fucking hell. They did it well, but damn, that sucks.

I agree

This is why Boardwalk is so damn good. The beloved characters are not killed off for shock value either. I'm sure most of us want characters like, Harrow, Jimmy, or the Butcher to stick around and be these badasses, but their endings are very fitting to their story.

its still a bummer though. RIP Harrow, one of the best TV characters ever.

FUCKIN A - right when shit goes good for Rich... got married, got the kid..and then boom! shit hits the fan..

so glad Knox was killed..

also it was funny how Eli knew that he had seen "mueller" before.. i was thinking to my self how long Van Alden's gotten away but i guess eli will remember him.

It was satisfying watching Knox get beaten to death. Does that make me a sick person?

no no no don't you see harrow has been dead since that episode where he went into the woods to kill himself

everything you just watched was what he imagined life would play out like, but it was all in his dying mind as he slowly bled out in the woods from a self-inflicted gunshot wound

That whole intense fight scene was crazy good. Knox was a twisted person himself and to see Eli continue to bash his face in made up for the dull way Gyp Rosetti was killed off at the end of season 3.

so amped for tonite...what do yall think will happen this season tho? this trailer makes it seem like one of the major themes is going to be the emergence of the Mafia (as we know it today) vs the old type bootlegger dudes

Super hyped for this but trippy that they jumped ahead 7 years for the last season, should be amazing most likely gonna see Luciano step it up big time, so many things to wrap up can't wait to see what happens throughout the season, should be bangers and not much filler every episode I'm guessing.

I get the sense that they never intended to end the show so soon

Is it budget related? Actors wanting to do other stuff? The season looks pretty short too with only 8 episodes compared to last season's 12

Yeah I remember Terrance Winter saying he would love to do 8 or 9 seasons, but I think a period drama like boardwalk costs a lot of money. It also probably has to do with him focusing on his new HBO show about the music industry in 1970s New York. I think Scorsese is directing the pilot on that one too.

Wonder if we'll see more Van Alden? He became one of my favorite characters. Once he became compromised it just made him easier to root for.

Definitely will miss this show when it all ends.

Prezbo as Eliot Ness!

Capone at the height of his powers was awesome to see. Seriously, it was like some king's court.

The Prezbo/Eliot Ness cameo was amazing.

I loved the conversation between Nucky and his Cuban bodyguard, that dude is a creepy mother fucker.

Chalky's demise was just as big of a bummer in this as Omar's was in The Wire.

Capone and his kid got me all fucked up though, just like in the beginning of the show.

I feel like they glossed over the war in order to fit everything into these last couple episodes but I'd say I liked it overall.
