What I don't get is if this was in the pretty sweet extras, was it available to put in pretty sweet, why the fuck wasn't it in there?

It's McCrank, and he only had one trick. I refuse to believe anyone at crailtap would choose to leave this out on purpose if it was available to use. Think of how long the opening sequence is, everyone in the house, the slow mo high fives, Jack Black etc etc

The footage which has come out after PS of him seems like he is on fire, it all just seems weird.

A lot of the older guys had full parts filmed. Some of it was different quality footage, which wouldn't fly with Ty. There was also evidently a push to feature the younger guys more which I think Marc Johnson talked a little about in his chrome ball interview.

Ty apparently had a lot of sway at crailtap. These shit decisions seem to boil down to him.

Sure, but keep in mind that those older dudes are still relevant and for some of them, pretty sweet may have been the last time they're able to film an entirely committed full part, seeing as they are aging. Not everyone's gonna be able to do like Reynolds

the only possible logic is yeah right. maybe there were a couple more full parts that couldve been fit into that video but they were nixed in favor of a montage. there was success with that video so why not in pretty sweet?

imagine how pissed people would be if forums existed back then and there were full rick howard, tony ferguson and rudy johnson parts left on the cutting floor? what if guy mariano had more footage than that?

they had this established formula that worked for yeah right and fully flared already and ty just wanted to continue with it. simple as that. bad decision but that makes a little more sense than ty deciding he wanted to be captain asshole for no reason. the quality of the bonus footage is the same as what was in the actual video so that might not necessarily be the only reason he cut certain parts short.
