AV CLASSIC HIGH'S?

Anyone mess with these yet? I have yet to see a pair in the wild. They look awesome. They've even got ollie patches, which I wish hope will be the new thing after toe caps come and go. The white ones looks like a good time...

Im skating the lowtops of these right now and they tear up somewhat quickly. The ollie patch is only stitched on so when the stitches tear it lifts up so I just put a little super glue under the ollie patch to hold it down and its fine now. The insole on my low tops is very very thin so I replaced it with some old vans pro insoles but lost a lot of boardfeel. I got the hi's and I have the same issue with the insole.  I really wish they would've just used the Ultracush insole (instead of the footbed as they call it) like all the other Vans pro's use.  It kinda feels like the ortholite ones the old AV's and TNT's use.

Bummed cause I think they look great.

I had some in black suede; I'm not sure if they were defective, but the sole went bald much faster than any other Vans I've skated.

Lows are sick.

Hi's look like the chick sk8-hi slim.  That's all I can think about when looking at them... but seen people wear them and they look alright.
